ws upgrade

hi
I downloaded the upgrade of ws,
then after installing it, I went to open my site on it were it said open, then
another illeagal error came up, on the ws.exe3.01 I clicked the ok button on it, the it crashed back to my desktop, what happend to it?
I use ie5.5 so I choosed to run on the download page, now I am trying the save mabey it will help? mabey not? thank you :)

Hi Crystal! Are you sure that was the name of the file you downloaded and installed? THe filename for the update SHOULD BE WebStudio301Udate.exe and it can be found by going here: http://www.webstudio.com/site/Update.asp. I always think it's better to have a saved copy on my computer, so do the "save" option and then execute it after the download is complete. Make sure you shut down everything else that's running before you execute it. If you are given an option to either Modify, Remove, or Repair the file after starting the install, then choose "Repair". You'll know for certain if you're running the updated version by going to Help/About in Web Studio, and it should tell you what version, specifically you're running.

If you're still having problems, perhaps you have a bad download or something. I would contact support@webstudio.com and ask for help; or, you could go to http://www.webstudioforum.com and you may be able to more quickly get in touch with one of the people who frequent both this forum and that one to get your help with this particular issue more quickly.
