Very cute, Fred! (and true!) In fact, I was a perfect example of the "kidney stones" thing last week. My husband finally took me to the emergency room. At first I thought I either had the flu or food poisoning. Day later, I passed what looked like a grain of sand. Yes, that was what was causing all the pain. Disappointing in a way. I was expecting like a golf ball or something! Experience I would not wish on anyone!

Can I have permission to post this at another forum?

I hope I never get kidney stones. I always hear stories of people what have them the size of marbles or golf balls. The thought makes me want to squirm.

Feel free, Jan - It is not original. I'm sure it brings back memories and shows how your perspective changes over time.
