I go to dance. My husband's Christmas parties are always buffet and I HATE balancing those plates of foot, especially when you can't sit down or when there are only chairs and no tables!!!!

It's one of the only times that my husband and I get to dance ... that and any weddings we may go to during the year.

We had our office party last Thursday night. 165 people - a buffet - 14" plates - seating for 50 - 8 x 8 dance floor - need I say more? :roll:

Tomorrow night is our party. I bought a new Christmasy outfit. The girls at work are daring me to wear a dress.........as a joke. If I did, I'd have to buy something after work tomorrow (gotta work til noon or whenever we see our last patient).

The girls are wanting me to wear a snazzy dress because they feel it would shock the entire staff...........and I promise ya, it would. Every one of them are agging it on.

I really would love to do it but I spent so much on the outfit I bought.

I don't want to say I have this weird personality (I've been called unique plenty of times), but for me to wear a dress..........it'd shock everyone plus I'd be the talk of the office.

If I have time tomorrow.........I might go buy me something unique to match my personality. I did see this black dress at JC Penneys with lace on the bottom and I'm seriously considering buying it. The girls would all understand, but I'm not sure the docs will.

I'll try to remember to take my digital camera and have someone take pics of me to post.

Can't wait to eat the food.

We had our GNOBFA Christmas party last night. It was a lot better than our office party - great band - a lot of food, a lot of room. Trouble was all those people and all that kissing gave me a cold. V
