Can someone on a dial up or even Helen's tin can, tell me how long it takes until
1. you see something happening and
2. how long for 100% load and
3. do pop ups work ok.
Any other comments or suggestions are more than welcome.

I can say DSL was instant on all counts. I can check at work tomorrow on a 128 connection - that is a partial T1 - They won't install a complete T1.

Thanks Fred, The rancher is on a 28kps connection, so I hope it loads instantly there too. or at least something showing quickly. Helen will check soon hopefully, probably busy making more coffee.

I was online but away from the tin can :angry1: ... probably opening up
one in the kitchen.
The site looks great and is very fast (You gonna teach us how you guys
do that?). The pop ups load fast too... work just fine.
NICE JOB! :D

Took me about 34 seconds on 54K. (Mainly the large horse image in the center). Looks really nice! The horses are gorgeous. Among my favorite animals.
Should note here that I went back again because I forgot to check the pop-ups (which work and load quickly!), it came in like instantaneously!!!

Thanks Guys! Glad it worked, the cowboy is on his way over!
How I did it? Optimize! Main page is 87K total, 11k for banner, main horse pic 50k, Thumbs 5k each. Pop ups load when called, 35-50k each, kinda large but needed high quality. Thanks!
At work - 128k connection - 15 seconds on main page 4 seconds on thumbs.

I got 11 seconds for the background, 39 for full load. Popups work good and took about 20 seconds to load all the way.

Hi Nikki Lisa - Bummer, you're still on dial up!
