Congratulations to winners and ALL... they were ALL wonderful ornaments :!:
The mystery 3rd place winner is here:
http://ideabank.rightstuffhosting.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=152&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=75
As you see, it is Jan's....
Jan, knowing you, I'm sure you won't mind if I bring this up:
Since the rules are that no one can win twice, and Jan won 2nd place,
someone else should win 3rd place.
Also, we would like to know who the judges are to properly thank them
for their gracious participation.
I'm sure that Fred will be along soon to let us know what he thinks and on
how to select the 3rd place winner.
In the meantime everyone, what are your suggestions/ideas/comments???
Another thing...
I'm having a resource problem with my computer, but it looks like most
(or all?) of Crystal's ornaments, some of Karen's, Joe's and ?? are not
showing up in the forum posts. Were they deleted somehow or is it my
computer??
WOW!!! Here it is almost 9:30 and I just got home in time to see the announcement. I'm so thrilled.
Here in eastern Tennessee, there are so many elderly folks living on a fixed income. Our town sponsors a Coal Fund drive every year. The one and only purpose is to keep folks warm who would be cold otherwise.
Therefore, with the winning proceeds, I'd like to turn it over to our Coal Fund. I'm warm tonight, but there are a lot of local citizens who are not.
The address is:
The Coal Fund
P.O. Box 545
Greeneville, Tennessee 37744
Any contributers of this fund are listed in the local newspaper. I'd like for the contribution to be listed as from ""The RightStuff Hosting Community Forum."
Thanks to the judges. The money will go towards helping at least one person/family be warm.
I cannot stand the thoughts of animals being cold, but a human being cold............is disheartening.

OOPS!! Forgot something........congratulations to crystal!!
Those were ALL beautiful ornaments. :D I know the judges had their work cut out for them. Maybe this will start a Christmas tradition at Right Stuff Hosting. It brought a lot of community involvement to our forum. Richard did a super job in creating the presentation. Also the judges need to be thanked for their difficult job - so, who were those indidivuals who had this difficult decision?
Helen is correct that the rules state you can only win once so the 3rd place winner is still a question mark. Like Helen said - any suggestions?
The winners will be contacted to determine how they would like to receive their award. Congratulations to Crystal and Jan and?

As the images were down, I couldn't verify the names, so didn't realize Jan won twice! We could 1. ask juges to pick another 3rd place or 2. vote among ourselves 3. Ask Jan and Crystal to pick another 3rd place.
I vote for option 3.
Judges were - TR, my woodworker assistant.
Jo and Bill Dickes , clients and friends
and Dorothy, a good friend
You can post your thanks to them here, they will see it. (Even if I have to print it for them.)
On edit -
I forgot to congratulate you guys! Good job!
and another thought,
we could give 3rd place to Dusty, for no reason, other than maybe I'll get another kiss :)

Congratulations Jan and Crystal!!
Richard could email Helen a number, and the rest of the people who didn't win could choose a number from 1-100 and the one who comes closest wins it.
Or....you could send that money to the coal fund too.

My personal "THANKS" and "MERRY CHRISTMAS" to TR, Jo, Bill and Dorothy or who took their holiday time to judge our contest. Thanks, guys!
I think the 3rd prize money should either go to the Coal Fund, St. Jude's Hospital or another charity of Helen and Fred's Choice. As long as it goes to a good cause, it doesn't matter who "won" it. We're all winners here.
We have great friendship, great hosting service, a great community. We had great fun, just posting our ornaments. We received great pleasure from viewing the gorgeous tree that Richard put our Christmas ornaments on. I, myself, had a blast just participating ... and I KNOW everybody else did too.
Let's give a little something to the folks who don't have it as good as we do and make ALL donations from the Right Stuff Hosting Community Forum. What a GREAT feeling that would be!
Thanks to our hosts who probably exceeded their own server's bandwidth with all of our ornament postings and for their friendship, help and support and especially ... for staring this Forum.
God Bless, guys!!!

CONGRATULATIONS CRYSTAL & JAN! GREAT WORK! Wonderful work all.
There are so many worthy causes it's almost to hard to think about.
I'm always cold (no matter what Richard and Shane say  ) so I can't imagine having to live on the streets or not be able to afford heating. (Or food) Both worthy causes you two.
Here are a couple of links to Crystal's St. Jude's Hospital.

THANK YOU to our judges TR, Jo, Bill, and Dorothy, and THANK YOU again Helen, Fred and Richard.
Shane's right. Don't want to get Richard too excited, there's still the BIG midnight/New Year's Eve kiss to be had!
