Yes, take an extended vacation. No one deserves one more than you do! Get away from this for a while. But PLEASE keep an open mind.

Maybe all you need is a "break". Maybe you'll hate retirement. :D Maybe you just need to restrict yourself to 18 online hours or less a day. :)

Get some rest, my friend, and tell us you'll think about retirement again then.

The Internet just won't be the same for me without you in the heart of it.

I PROMISE never to bother you again ... and never to ask you to solve my difficult problems again either. Heh, what do you say?

Actually I have been "officially retired" for almost 10 years, but always
seem to be into something, especially since I found the internet. Right
Stuff has been my favorite, but the hours/stress is quite another thing.
There is no time or inclination left to do anything else.

Fred has asked that we try to rearrange things to make it work better,
as quitting altogether is really not my first choice either. So if we can,
and it proves to be doable, I guess you're stuck with me after all.

In any case, you're NEVER going to get rid of me completely. :)

Everyone here knows that Helen is the heart and glue of this company. I could not do without her but I do not want her to ruin her health by living on the computer. There has to be time for cake. She works too hard. It make me feel guilty for her neglecting her retirement. She earned it. My jokes were making her ill. She puts up with me so that says a lot about her. It must be the candy I send her. :evil:

I'm still not 100% but it has been years since that has been the case. I was sneezing so much Saturday night that I either pulled a muscle in my chest or cracked a rib. It hurts like the devil when I cough. Don't feel much like the Energizer bunny but I hope to be the tortoise. :D
