I give up on birthdays - someone gave me that date last year and I added it to my calendar.

Sorry 'bout that Fred........your informant was misinformed :D :D , but it's the thought that counts..........
Had to get one quick Richard....but did okay..just bought the box, and choose spec...within price limit £800/$1300, +tax at 17.5%.... old monitor, keyboard etc etc etc ok
Fujitsu/Siemens based but with altered spec
P4 2.8GHz
120GB H/D Western Digital
512 ram
2 firewire ports/8 USB
128MB ATI Radeon Graphics card
DVD/RW
XP Pro
etc etc
First time I've used XP seriously And gotta say I'm impressed.........
It's kinda nice & was a good price, but unexpected purchase & time transferring stuff is/was a pain.............old puter is still (just) hobbling along but it's on it's way out. And Fast.
Was saving for a Mac G4...................another thing out the window

That looks like a great system!! Especially the vid card! Does the 128MB ATI Radeon Graphics card support 2 monitors?

Yep.........I'm pleased with the system.
On the Radeon Graphics Card; I saw one ages ago running some heavy games and 3D stuff on a friends machine and was impressed. I decided then whenever I was gonna update I wanted one. They have a recommended retail of $149 in the USA, mine was discounted as was buying the system but bang for buck either way you can't complain. I'm sure you can get it discounted from the recommended retail there too. Genuinely impressed with it..Oh yeah it does support two monitors with Hydravision http://www.ati.com/companyinfo/glossary/hydravision/index.html
