WebMail Logon Problems
WebMail is available by going to http://yourdomain.com:2095 or http://64.246.42.19:2095
Some people have had problems with WebMail. In most cases it is because the whole address is not being used. We were told - Sometimes we are also able to access it with just this:
emailname without the "@yourdomain.com", then input the
email password for that email account.
However, we have discovered that in the real world you need to put the WHOLE address or you get errors.
So, for example, just putting "donaldduck" will not work. You need to put "donaldduck@waltdisney.com"
I think the only way that short version will work is if you are already logged in your CPanel and are checking mail in your Primary account.
Hello fred, Can one use there email account with out having a domain?
and can one send and receive emails. If so how I was told you would need
to set up a sub domain in order to use your email account with out a domain. Thanks for any help you can give me...Rob

Hi Rob,
It is best to have a domain name if you're interested in being listed in the
search engines. GoDaddy.com usually sells them for $4.95 - $8.95 per
year.
If one does not have a domain name, their web space address would be like this:
http://sitename.rightstuffhosting.com
Actually, that is a type of subdomain under us, but it would have a
separate control panel, ftp, mail, etc. So yes, you can have email boxes
with no domain name of your own here, which you'd set up in your CPanel control panel.
You could access mail either through your CPanel or via Web Mail.
The type of hosting plan you're on would determine how many of each
CPanel feature your web space/bandwidth allotment can reasonably
acommodate.
Hello Helen, Thank you for your info but I was woundering how would I set it up so I can use the email with out a domain. How do I setup the sub domain up and ftp

Do you have a web hosting account with us? Sorry, but we have a couple of "Robs", so I'm a bit confused about exactly who you are. Our server email services are only provided for our web hosting clients. :)
If you're not hosting with us and just need email services, you might check out godaddy.com or type "email services" into the search box at google.com for information on what's available on the net.
