Swish can't do accurate percentage pre-loaders, but Flash can. This .zip includes all the files you need to add your own percentage pre-loaders to your Swish movies. Includes the .swi, the .swf movie you need to upload along side to control your Swish movie & all files including the .fla.

 The example loads very quickly online with my 56K dialup.

But be forwarned, folks... it loads so fast on your local drive that
you won't see it at all if you glance away!

I opened that html page several times thinking something was
wrong, 'cause I saw no loading graphic.

This is sooooooo easy to do.... just replace the image with your own
and it is DONE. :D

Nice work Shane! Maybe you could post a broadband example, so it doesn't go swooshing by. People who are using swf's ( flash or swish) can use this to create a "buffer" for streaming audio, with a little tweaking. hint hint.

Thanks Helen & Richard,

I've added a bit of content to the online example & put in a full 1-100 % count. You can now easily just change the font to suit, same with the loader rectangle fill, just resize or colour it in Swish and leave the move actions in place. Tweaked the .fla slightly as well.
You should now be able to get a better idea on broadband at:

The percent loader will still whoosh by when testing locally as the movie it is loading is already on your local machine and this is a true percent loader, if 100% is loaded (as it would be locally, of course) it just goes & plays the scene/movie.

Zip upated too:

Yeah, it would make a good streaming buffer Richard, thinking of adding some controls to a stream sound player, so may use it there to buffer, when i get some time tho.....
