Anyone know of a HTML tables generator? Seems to me there must be one out there. Like the image map assist programs that allow you to simply drag mouse boxes out quick and easy and then generate the code for you. Am I making sense? Complex tables take a long boring time to layout.
P.S. I've been hanging out at search engine placement Forum where only two guys ever give advice, one of them owns a search engine. Yesterday I get this posted to me...
"You are now very near to the point you can be helping others in this forum. Get prepared to contribute, I need some rest."
And today I have it confirmed that I'm going to be sub-contracted work by a Web promotion company specializing in search registration and placement etc. I only started into this stuff a couple of months back. Amazing what can be learn't when you don't sleep for a month :D

Congratulations, TC! You worked hard and deserve the recognition (and the money!) :D
I've been looking for a good table generator too, for the Webmasters
Idea Page. Here are some addys that I've been meaning to investigate
further when I have time... maybe one will be what you need:

Oh, also, Josh asked a search engine question under the Internet
Marketing topic above. I was hoping you would see it and offer an
opinion. Could you take a look? Thanx! :D

Dreamweaver lets you create tables by drag and drop. Very easy to do.

It don't get any better than Dreamweaver

Hi Ken.........
About $400 Helen straight from Macromedia, but deals, upgrades etc are available. That can bring it down quite a lot.
Worth every penny.

You can pick up a new, legit copy of DW 4 on e bay for $50. Try that first , then buy MX. You will make pages 10 times faster, so it will pay for itself in no time.
ps In 1024 x768, this forum now has a horiz scroll.
pss, if you like DW4, then you just need the DW mx upgrade, may be less in total than buying DW mx at first.

 I'll look into that... guess I need to learn more about it. But the
learnig curve has been my biggest consideration.
I've noticed a huge scroll here too lately and I don't have the 1024 x768
setting. Fred is pretty good with this forum, so maybe he can figure it out
when he gets a chance.

Shane did it! Sorry, Shane  His first post in this topic, the one with ... in between the sentences. Edit that post and put some spaces by the ...'s, and the width of the page will go back to normal.
Anytime you see the page width do this, it usually one of two things. Either a long, unbroken string of characters, or a very long URL has been posted in the thread.

Thanks Jake ( you should be a moderator!)
Should have known it was Shane being long winded

 I posted a really long URL before Shane posted. Maybe I helped
make it wide too.

Maybe it was me then
I did a return in the middle of the long URL. It deactivated part of the URL
but if anyone still needs it, they can copy/paste I guess. Funny I never
noticed it doing that before. :|

Hi Ken!
Hi all - thanks for the Dreamweaver tip. After digging around I've found my HotDogPro has a Tables add-on so I'll try that. I'll also download Dreamweaver but I've found Macromedia stuff is designed for people from another planet. I have trouble thinking to its logic. I have a MM unlocker that might help me try it a while until I know I'm going to continue for sure.

Hey TC,
Greetings from MM Planet...............I know what you mean though. Dreamweaver can look dauntung just coz it can do sooooooooo much.
If you have a trial version of DW 4 or MX, try opening one of your own sites in it and play awhile....it seems easier that way looking at familar ground, so to speak...Your tables are built with code prompts etc as you type, you can drag & drop with it, but you won't........I know you'll love it, it really is a faster way of working.
