Karen,
Since you've started doing snow/animations, I thought I'd try to do a snow globe. (Just practicing. My snow is kind of choppy. ) I can't remember who posted the snow globe site last year (maybe Terry?) but here's the link in case anyone is interested. http://pannsplace.50megs.com/snowglobes/globeopener.html
There's also a tutorial on the home page.

Just thought it would look good if his eyes were blinking, unless of course they've frozen open. Hmmm, you can't really tell it's a globe since I covered it up with pine. Back to the paint board, ugh!

It looks good like that! It looks like an ornament on a tree.

Yeah, that looks great.

When are you going to put all your talent to work and make a site?

This is the only snowglobe I ever made. I made it a couple of years ago in PhotoShop. I actually made the globe using the 3-D Sphere effect. Boy, was THAT a pain(t) in the butt. I don't have PSP though, so that site wouldn't do me much good. All of her globe tubes are to be used with that. But, it would be cool to figure out how to get a stand on this one. I don't think you can do it after the fact, tho.

ON EDIT: OK, I found a stand and animated the eyes. File is large, but what the hey!
