Hey Helen,
Sounds good.
I must look into it............can you just add the domain name thingy to an existing website I wonder.........

Hi Shane...
Yes you can (cause you're smarter than me about websites and linking,
lol). You can select only the products you want to feature. With the
Wizzard, you can add an item of your own that you'd like to feature as
well. You don't have to use the Wizzard and you can use any of the
graphics provided if you like.
You can actually make it part of your site or whatever you want to do.
This gives you much more latitude for adding flash, etc. The best way is
to keep the basic links intact... which are what keeps it secure.
If you use a separate domain name as I did, it is FWD/Masked, so that
my domain name is always in browser window. However, even though the
whole site is secure, the little locks don't show up this way. That is why I
put the header on every page... "how to check for a certificate to make
sure they are safe in entering sensitive ionformation".
If you copy the index page (or redesign it), as in using it as one of your
website pages, linking out to the site through the buttons, etc., it DOES
show the little lock on all the linked-to pages...
BUT... then the address bar shows a long url like this...
"https://www.securepaynet.net/...... " instead of your domain name. But
that's not a bad name at all, when you think about it. :)
I do know that if you're energetic enough, you could redesign the whole
site, not just the index page for it. I elected to use one of the pre-made
templates and the quick Wizard builder for my domain name sales site.
This way I can just link to it from any site I wish and for me, is much
simpler... I was up and running very quickly that way.
The regular price is $99 per year, but anyone who orders it before Jan.
1st only pays $89 per year. It makes a nice add-on for hosting resellers
to offer for their clients' convenience.
If you want to make a lot of money selling domain names, of course you
have to actively promote it and get lots of interested traffic ... volume is
the key there.
A BIGGIE..... this domain name business also includes total support for
both the domain name resellers AND their customers... that alone is worth
more than the annual cost. :)

HI Helen,
Thanks for all the info, it seems a great deal. I'm thinking of adding it to my new hosting reseller website.......expect me to annoy you (even more) with loads of questions soon :o :o
One quick question, what name is shown on customers credit card bills? Securepaynet ?.......as you said it's not a bad name at all...

Helen, your link doesn't work in firebird, page stalls out while trying to load images, works ok in IE

Ask all the questions you like... if I don't have the answer, I know where to get it. :)
I ordered RightStuffDomains.com from my Domain Name site with a Visa
checking account debit card, so I won't get a cc statement. It was listed in
my checking account as:
ATM/POS Withdrawal DOMAIN NAMES/HOS 480-624-2515 AZ
(I'm pretty sure that phone number is the customer support one.)
I would think a cc statement would say close to the same thing. I just
haven't tried that yet... I have no credit cards, just debit cards.
The email acknowledgement said ORDER CONFIRMATION from
RightStuffDomains.com ; sender was support@secureserver.net; email
subject was RightStuffDomains.com Order
I dunno about Firebird; don't have that in my new computer yet. Seems
odd that one can see site and someone else can't though. I'll ask support
about that next time I calll them. I'll also ask what cc statements say, just to be sure. :)

You're welcome... if you made sense out of that, you're gooooood! :)
When I looked at it later... what is confusing is... Biz domain name is the same as the domain name being purchased...
errr... ordered rightstuffdomains.com from rightstuffdomains.com LOL!
That was a special circumstance, since it was during set up; but would be the same process for other domain names as well...
ok I'm outa here before I mess this up worse ... if you weren't confused before, betcha are now. :)

Hi Helen,
Don't unstand it all lol, but the names are generic enough to be okay with clients and your email shows at the top, so it's all good.
